On Tuesday, May 7, Boulder City Council members directed City Attorney Tom Carr to draft an ordinance calling for a moratorium on hydraulic fracturing in the City of Boulder.

Road Damage Caused by Fracking

Imagine how difficult it would be for oil and gas operators if to drill wells they had to put in their own infrastructure and maintain it at their cost? Maybe it’s time for a user tax on oil and gas operators so cities don’t get stuck with the road repair cost.
