Project Developer - JD Lindeberg is the leader of the development team that has been formed to build Olabrisa. He will be responsible for overseeing the team’s activities and will take special responsibility for design items like water and wastewater treatment, project finance, contracts, and project budget. JD has 25 years of experience as a construction manager and is currently a partner with the Michigan-based Cohousing Development Company, developers of three adjacent, environmentally conscious, intentional neighborhoods that bring together more than two hundred and fifty people.
He also works as a manager and consultant on projects related to recycling and sustainability and is a principal in Resource Recycling Systems, Inc. of Ann Arbor, Michigan. JD is a nationally known expert in designing environmentally sustainable systems, and will be overseeing resident trainings for living in a sustainable home and community so we can put these technologies to work! JD lives in Ann Arbor, MI with his family, Carol Tucker and son Logan Lindeberg.
Project Financing - Bob Bruegel (pictured above on masthead) is responsible for organizing and securing the early stage
financing for OlaBrisa, working to ensure that the structure of the financing
supports rather than hinders the long term success and achievement of the
project. Bob has over a decade of experience in the formation and early
stage financing of cohousing projects.
Bob's earlier training and career have been in the area of the development of
computerized information systems for healthcare - an area where he maintains a
current active involvement. Bob and his wife Colette were founding members of
the Nyland Cohousing Community in Lafayette, Colorado, which was one of the
first three cohousing projects built in the US. They plan to split their
time between OlaBrisa and Nyland. |

Lead Designer - Matt Worswick is OlaBrisa’s Lead Designer and is responsible for coordinating the design process and assisting with the selection and implementation of building systems and sustainable technologies. He has specialized in energy efficient and environmentally responsible residential design for the past 25 years and has completed over 250 projects in Colorado, including custom homes, additions to existing buildings and six cohousing communities. He is a founding member of the award-winning Harmony Village Cohousing Community in Golden, CO, and designed the neighborhood and participated in all aspects of the project development process. He currently lives (and works) in Harmony Village with his wife Linda and daughter Jenny. |
