  The Las Tunas Neighborhood

OlaBrisa is located in Todos Santos’ newest and largest neighborhood, “Las Tunas”, a term that refers to the local prickly pear cacti in the area. Las Tunas is about two miles northwest of the Todos Santos town square and is accessible via a well-traveled dirt road that passes a supermarket, plant nursery, café and organic farm. The neighborhood consists of an eclectic and pleasing assortment of both small and large homes occupied primarily by a variety of expatriate families, singles and retirees who call Las Tunas home for much of the year.

Las Tunas residents include local artists, business owners, authors, architects, gourmet chefs and more. The residents can often be found at spontaneous potlucks on the beach to watch the sunsets, or pods of whales as they pass. The Las Tunas neighbors are also civic and environmentally minded, protecting the sea turtles that lay their eggs along the coast there, and working to preserve and protect the beach.
