The Elder Cohousing Network provides helpful resources to support pro-active adults in creating their own intentional elder neighborhood.
We host this website and a national database of individuals and forming groups wanting to live in an age-targeted or "Elder-Rich" cohousing community. The database enables us to help connect interested people with each other locally and in their preferred region of the country.
As national educators we offer a two-day Cohousing Development Seminar once a year. This training provides an overview of the social, physical and financial aspects of creating a cohousing community for active adults, and includes a take-hom powerpoint presentation and 170-page workbook. We also provide a private consultation per workshop participant or group to offer guidance on how to get started on your specific project.
We are also available as speakers for local, regional and national conferences. Click here to see a listing of past presentations.
The emerging story of a new model for intentional elder living is gaining national media attention. We are glad to assist journalists covering this new lifestyle for active adults planning ahead for "elderhood." Please contact us at Info@ElderCohousing.org or call (303) 413-8066.
